Hello!
In the beginning, everything was still very clear: three platies moved in with us—Günther, Marianne, and Herbert. Each had its own distinct place in the aquarium and could be recognized immediately.
Günther was the one with the slightly annoyed look, Marianne was the elegant one, and Herbert... well, Herbert was just Herbert.
But then the three of them apparently decided that expanding the family was a really good idea. First there were a few babies. Then a few more. And today it's a colorful, dazzling extended platy family happily scurrying through the water – so large that no one can tell exactly who is actually Günther, Marianne, or Herbert anymore.
Sometimes we look into the aquarium and think:
“One of you three is definitely swimming there... or maybe fifteen. It doesn't matter – the main thing is that you're having fun!”
And somewhere among all the fins, the original Herbert is probably sitting and thinking:
“I just wanted a little company...”
