we are Sissi and Franz and we are poison dart frogs. Originally we come from the Central and South American rainforest, but there are many snakes there that we are really afraid of. Normally we poison everything and everyone as soon as it touches us, but we have lost our poison glands - a pity really! We got our name from the Chocó Indians from Colombia. For hunting, they soak their arrows in our poison and as soon as the prey comes into contact with the poison, it dies.

Now we live in the DORMERO Hotel Hersbruck, here there are no enemies for us and we can live a very relaxed life. Most of all we like it nice and warm and humid, like in the rainforest. It's great to see new faces every day and to play hide and seek with the hotel guests.
