Amedia becomes DeHo
The Dormero Group is opening its fourth hotel in Austria and the 59th worldwide in Linz at the turn of the year. The 97-room hotel currently managed as Amedia at Prinz-Eugen-Straße 12 in Upper Austria will be run as DORMERO DeHo Linz from January.



All good things come in threes
So far, the expansion in Linz has not been crowned with success - in 2014, another interested party was awarded the contract for the hotel on Domplatz, and the construction project from 2019 in Sophiengutstrasse was completely canceled due to corona and the construction crisis. The purchase of the property in Prinz-Eugen-Strasse by investor Dr. Ben Dahlheim, from the current owner of the Soravia Group, has now cleared the way for the third attempt.

Stubborn growth
CEO Manuela Halm is delighted that the Group is now represented in all three major cities in Austria: "We are happy that we are now located in Upper Austria. Linz is the industrial center and lifeline of Austria. We are very much looking forward to the region and the people there. We have fought long and hard for this."
Investor Dahlheim, who is both Chairman of the Supervisory Board of DORMERO and half-Austrian, adds: "I spent half my childhood in Linz, I met my girlfriend here. It's great that we are now also represented there. But with Graz, Vienna, Tyrol and now Linz, we are only at the beginning of our expansion in Austria. The aim is to have at least 10 locations.

DORMERO has completely switched to digital payments: therefore only cards are accepted for payment.
