Short-term parking zone free of charge Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM, as well as on weekends starting Saturday at 12:00 PM and on all holidays! Weekdays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM—ticket for €1.40 per 60 minutes.
At Ennskai: (City exit along the Enns): Free from Monday to Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM, as well as on weekends starting Saturday at 12:00 PM and on all public holidays!
Weekdays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM: Ticket for up to 3 hours (€0.70/30 minutes).
Handel-Mazzetti Promenade: Old Town Parking Lot – free long-term parking (behind the hotel, 2–5 minutes’ walk away) Access via Mayrstiege.
TIP
If you arrive in the late afternoon and leave early the next morning, you’ll always find a parking spot at Stadtplatz or Ennskai. You can purchase a parking ticket for the next day in the evening.
How to get there by car
First, drive toward Steyr, then follow the signs toward the city center / Stadtplatz.
The hotel is located right on the historic Stadtplatz in a central location.
HOW TO GET THERE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
First, travel to the Steyr train station. From there, depending on the connection, take the bus toward the city center / Stadtplatz.
Get off at a nearby stop in the Stadtplatz / Zentrum area. From there, it’s just a short walk to the hotel.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi from Steyr train station or walk. The walk takes you through the historic old town and takes about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on your pace.
HOW TO GET THERE BY PLANE
The best way to reach the DORMERO Hotel Steyr is via Linz Airport. From there, you can easily continue your journey to Steyr by rental car, taxi, or public transportation.
By train, travel from the airport or from Linz toward Steyr Station. From Steyr Station, take a bus toward the city center/Stadtplatz or a taxi directly to the hotel. Alternatively, the hotel is also within walking distance from the station; the walk to the historic old town takes about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on your pace.
For international travelers, Vienna or Salzburg airports are also convenient options. From there, the best way to continue your journey to Steyr is by train or rental car.
