The DORMERO Hotel Dresden City with its 93 rooms is more than just another traditional hotel in the Florence of the Elbe, as Dresden is also called. The listed old town villa dating back to the year 1888 was converted converted into into a hip location with many unusual details and surprising designs over the last years. The hotel is located in the up-and-coming artist neighborhood of Strehlen, next to a luscious city park, only a few minutes by car from Dresden’s popular historic center.
A lodging tax is in effect in Dresden. All persons staying overnight in the tax jurisdiction are subject to this tax. The tax amounts to 6% of the gross lodging fee.
Exempt from the tax are individuals in education up to the age of 27, individuals with a disability rating of 80% or more, and their necessary accompanying person. Minors are also exempt from the tax.
